I'll try to keep this simple-- this account is an animation/urban vinyl style alt of my main account, Cowkitty.


The goal here is to grow and experiment as an artist and future animator. I've fallen into the pattern of letting overcomplicated painting/coloring/texturing/etc distract from my shoddy line work and anatomy. This is one way to address that-- bold, simple design forces me to work through these problems.

Most importantly, this is to chronicle my evolution from a fantasy/illustration style artist to the animation style artist I've always wanted to be. This account will be full of sketches, doodles, and full work that I've always had, but never been able to showcase because of how it differs from my fantasy style. Much of my old work was fun and stylized, and I hope to rekindle that. This is also my time to focus on this style instead of my other one, and finally get some much needed TLC and critique in this area. You'll notice I'll have extensive self-critique on each piece I upload.

Probably most of these pics won't be "finished". Not many fancy backgrounds, fancy signatures, or anything of the sort. When I finally have my style sorted out, maybe then I'll move in that direction again.
